Setting the Standard of Quality Laboratory Practice
We continually evaluate and add new testing and procedures to stay abreast of changes in the medical field and to improve the overall patient experience.
Instrumentation: All major instrumentation has been completely replaced within the past 3-5 years and represents the most up-to-date and sophisticated available.
Pick-up service: Routinely scheduled specimen and report pick-up and delivery is available to the Gallatin Valley and Livingston areas. Local-area ASAP pick-ups are available 24/7.
Prompt reporting: Specimens are processed upon receipt and results reported as rapidly as possible. An indication of the approximate turn-around time is listed with each procedure.
We deliver results several times a day.We can also fax or call results as requested.
In addition, MLS now offers secure, real-time Internet laboratory results via LabCentral, an interactive Web site that allows physicians and other authorized medical personnel to confidentially access real-time patient laboratory results anytime from anywhere Internet access is available. It’s fast, easy, confidential and convenient. Ask us about in-service training for you and your staff.
Quality control: MLS is committed to a standard of excellence that qualifies us as a fully accredited medical laboratory. We are fully trained and certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology or equivalent and participate in on-going evaluation by the College of American Pathologists and other state and national agencies through proficiency testing and on-site inspections. The results of our proficiency tests are available upon request.
Repeat determinations: Any analyses performed by MLS will be repeated at no charge if the results are suspect in light of clinical information.
Professional consultations: Members of our staff are available to discuss your results, answer your questions or arrange for special studies.
